how to bring traffic to my blog? Im on my new blog, which deals with cooking recipes! Pls help!!!!!!

 

Submit it to various blog submitting sites like blogorama, blogcatalog etc. there are plenty of such sites.

 

If your blog is new, visitors tend to take it lighter, so first make it a good and big database of recipes. Since your is a recipe blog, get a good template.

Also, share your blog at the website in my sig.

 

Unique content is the only thing you should focus on to get new visitors. There is not point in promoting a blog with rubbish content.

Add a lot of unique content, submit to search engines, and sign up to directories (etc) for back links. Try to spread the word manually via forums (etc) however don't spam.

 

I'd say post regularly, don't burn yourself out. Ping it, I use pin'-o-matic and submit it to social bookmarkings so it can be picked up by search engines.

Submit articles to Ezine or other article places about your recipes pointing to your blog.

Join cooking forums and answer questions and have your blog in your sig.

Be patient and consistent, give it time to build.

 

Put together, or buy/borrow, a brief cooking video (an entertaining, non-boring one)! Pop a brief intro at the beginning and end with embedded url to your site, offering free recipes or something and then upload it to every video site, making sure you tag it properly.

 

You should build your profile first to let people know, adding a good content is essential. Then blog walking and post comment is one of effective way, you also may join the forum, post your article to bookmarking sites, blog directory and if you have any video in your blog you should put in to youtube. Hope these will increase your blog popularity.

If you really know what you're doing with the blog and have some great content to post up, the rest will follow. First comes good content, then marketing, then traffic, then $$$

to promote your blog..you need unique content,you also can add some video in your blog and also submit the video with you tube on how to cook,how to bake..it will attract more traffic

 

Just start by spreading the word around social networking sites, those are the best way. Bookmarking your blog and then sharing it with 100 other users, maybe a few of those will spread that post to their friends and there's some guaranteed traffic.
