How to bring traffic?/Improve impressions?

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to adsense. I recently started a tutorial/informative website on computer related topics ranging from how to download, asp, css, html, etc. My only problem is that I just cannot seem to bring traffic to it. The website is www.watchandtry.com. Ive submitted the site to a lot of directory's, but im still only receiving maybe 20 impressions a day. Someone told me about affiliate marketing, but I am not entirely sure what that is? Also any suggestions of how I can bring traffic to my site or improvements i could make to the website would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Hmm I've got 20 impressions a day on my first few weeks. Yours is already around for about 2-3 months. You should be at least getting 50 impressions with that amount of contents (at least)

One thing I notice though..(I tried searching some keywords to get to your site from Google search), your title is saved as a Wordpress default URL (i.e: http://watchandtry.com/?p=51 )
You need to change this to: http://watchandtry.com/2008/02/protecting_your_computer_from....html for a better search engine optimisation.
Go to Wordpress Administration -> Permalinks -> Choose Custom, and specify:
/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

Hope it helps you to get ranked better on the search engines, which will bring more traffic!

 

A lot of your content looks like it's just copy pasted.

About 5-10 articles are copied. This is because I found it hard to keep updating with my own content. thanks.

try doing some seo.. thats the easiest way of getting traffic.

 

install wordpress in your system and ping to server when you've update your website.
be the partner of related content websites.

write ur own articles, then submit them to different high PR article directories.
