How to bring site back to Google

I registered expired domain name. It was offline for a long time. 2 or 3 years. However links to this site are very good. about 6 or 7 links from PR7 pages from very valuable sites. Now it is 6 months that I registered it and restored content but this site is still not in Google. site:mysitename.com returns zero pages :(
I don't see much reasons why it could be banned.

Did anybody have experience with similar situation?

Since you have reg. the expired domain you need to wait for more time. Once I had reg. the expired domain and it takes 9-12 month for caching in google. Meanwhile concentrate on getting backlinks so once it will start caching you can have better results.

Like they said try to resubmit the site. sometime google is like an old guy who forgot the old thing. Submit it manually and use a free submission site to submit to others that should do. try it and tell us the result. ^^

Just make sure your website is live, and keep getting backlinks like submitting to directories, post in forums, sooner or later, it will be back in google SERPs.

    Thanks for ideas.
It didn't came to my mind to resubmit it manually. I will try it.
I of course made some new links to it from PR6 page inclusively but so far it had no results.

As far as I saw through Archive.org there were no reasons to ban it. Quite normal software development site.

Ok, so your submission for reinclusion should succeed. Good luck.

Don't wait. submit a reinclusion request. PR7 incoming links should work within days, if not hours and you are talking about 6 months.

If it was expired for two years, chances are it is completely out of the index. It also may have been banned; what was the site content beforehand (if you know)?

I would propose you to create a google sitemap account and see if the bots index your site and decides from there whether to submit a re-inclusion report or not.

As I previously noted yes I know what was on the site before thanks to Archive.org. And I found nothing that could lead ban from Google...

I will try it if manual resubmit will not have results :)

PS. MSN and Yahoo daily crawl the site and links from this site are ranked quite high. So only Google doesn't want to restore the site.
