How to bring people to contribute to your site?

I am developing a site where I really need others to contribute their experiences. It is a support site for people struggling with student loan debt (not the one listed below). How do I drive traffic to it and make it attractive so people want to help others?

depends on the writer, head on down to the marketplace area on the forums

normally its $5 for 500+- words article...

you decide what topic they right on.. so make sure you choose a sincere topic.

Offer them some service in return. Perhaps a free debt counselling session or something like that?

see if there are an good free articles out there first then do paid ones... and if you want people to show support try contacting some counselors that can help and tell them they can advertise or somethign in turn for lending support.

Be careful with the counselors....lots of press recently about "non-profit" counselors getting spanked by the IRS for fraudulent practices...
