Basically rather than concentrating on traffic, you have to target eyeballs. The more number of eyeballs you target on facebook, you will get that many visitors for your site. However you can just go on posting your site URL randomly on Facebook, you ID will get banned. So you have to do the smart way

Try to create a fan page of your company or website, then send invites to your friends. Later after a week or so, you can post some URL on your fan page wall and share and tag your friends, so your post will be visible of their homepages. This way you will get more eyeballs and traffic to your fan page and eventually it will be directed to your site, if you have created your fan page.

You can use some application, ex: NetworkedBlogs (http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=9953271133) that will automatically post new update of your site to your profile/fans page (by RSS),

 

You should share your desired links to your friends on facebook. After this traffic can be increased.

 

Create a fan page, invite your friends ( since you are the Admin ) .
Add a like button to your Website / Page .
You can " make admin " your friends and ask them to invite their friends .. ( Works good )
Invite other friends from other Social networks,
When you get 1000+ fans .. you can simply send 1 message asking them to check your new blog post / website . the important for you now is to build and promote a Fan page !

You can also buy some likes or friends, use google and "buy facebook fans" for example

 

Don't you want real fans and not to have to buy fans? Wouldn't there be alot of non targeted eyballs at that point? Has someone ever bought fans and how did it work out?

 

There´s lots of people on Fiverr who sell likes and fans but I think finding targetted people through liking similar pages and joining groups on Facebook would be better.
