How to bring more traffic to a new website

i have loaded my new website - www.online-nanny.com and would be happy to have some tips of how to bring more traffic to my website.

Currently every week I'm adding one new article to ezine and to my website under "tips".

What else I should do?

Articles are great.
You probably wanna give it a exposure to new audience using the social networking sites as well.

 

Articles are great as mentioned above.

Contact a few bloggers and let them know of your site.

You can also post on a few social news sites such as www.digg.com, and some low volume sites such as www.techtagg.com to get back links.

Your sites are looking real professional. Submit them to directories and search engines. Once you update articles on regular basis, you should see some good results.

By the way, all your sites including the ones in your signature look very similar. Are they done by the same person or same tool? Just curious.

Why don't you put anchor text for links in your signature? It can at least define your site in one look

 

Define keywords you want your site to be associated with - and then find other sites who share those keywords - get links from them if you can. This is a quick way the search engines can find you. They'll scan those other established pages and following all the links they'll crawl all over your site.

But these are the kind of bugs you want around.

I have gotten some top ten rankings and traffic with 3way links. Don't do link exchanges

what do you mean? will be gald for some input. tx.

 

there are three reasons why i'm suggesting them. 1. by signing up, you'll get exposure; people will view your site and decide if they would like to exchange links. you'll get some rediculous requests, but traffic is traffic.

2. there site is fairly easy to use and you can exchange links even under their free membership program.

3. you'll find sites you may want to link or network with

there's probably other sites out there, but this is one that's working out for me.

I think the best way to get targeted traffic to a website is to add a blog to it and then target longtail keyword phrases.

I am on page one of Google for over 1500 unique keywords and blogging and social bookmarking really help with this.

The other thing I do is use article marketing to drive traffic to my home page and inner pages. I use Submit Your Article and targe different keywords in each article.

All of this serves to get me more traffic as well as search engine bait.

 

some threads get more feedback than others depending on the niche of the site;

some people could have said. . .Stop, don't worry about traffic just yet. you have to first focus on design or something like that.

 

Create article or outsource them, then submit em' to ezine article, article dasheboard and goarticle.
Very targeted audience, and if they like the site they tend to come again.
I usually submit 15 article per month and now after 4 month my site generate more than 200 uv per day.

 

Why not try collecting email address?

 

To just get traffic social sites work great especially stumbleupon. If you want conversions I found that you need some organic traffic. Check out a few SEO sites and follow the steps to get organic traffic.
