How to bring down Memory Usage?

On my virtuozzo server, it says: 3.2 GB of 7.9 GB used; 4.7 GB available

There are no visitors going on my website at the moment, so I don't know what is causing this high memory usage.
Could someone please explain how I would keep memory usage low and what to do?

 

You mean you have 8GB RAM on a VPS???

Nope it says that is for Memory usage.

Did you pay for 8GB ? If not, that is the usage of all the sites in the server, not just yours.

 

No I didn't pay for the 8GB, I just wanted to know how I would bring down the Memory Usage?

 

You can't bring down other people's usage on a shared host.

this is not high usage if you are using Linux, it first uses all and then distributes as required.
if your swap is ok then you dont need to worry
