How to bring back forum activity?

    Hello everyone,
My gaming forum used to average 200 - 400 daily new posts, however; this has gone down to about 50 - 100 new posts a day.

I have tried to promote the forum on the main site, but that doesn't seem to be helping much, even tried to add unique content - but not sure if that has helped.

What would you guys do if this happened to you?

I'm trying to do post exchanges to try to bring back the activity, and I'll see how that goes.

Try having some quality guide's made and offering them as bonus's to members for quality posts.

Of as a free giveaway for your forum.

If you can have a simple yet informative product that you can giveaway every 2 months, it will make your forum more attactive to not only new members, but old ones too.

Good idea - like a certain video game or something? I think that I could do that!

I have a picture gallery on one of my forums that users love to use. Maybe add a picture contest for best mod or custom pc. I know people love to show off what they have done to their favorite gaming machine.
