This doesn't have to be "black hat". You can keep it completely white hat. First of all, there's no need whatsoever to use a proxy or to clear your cookies. Multiple links on one IP won't help you any more than one will. The Search Engines give you one backlink credit per IP.

Second, submit your article to the Do Follow Social Bookmarking sites. Some of those listed in the High PR list on this thread are No Follow. Those WON'T help you in the SE index.

Third, do a backlink campaign on your article with other High Quality, High Page Rank backlinks. It works very well. My own article is number 9 out of 11.8 MILLION competing sites, which means it's on Page One of Google out of almost 12 MILLION. That's because I did a backlink campaign using the backlinks I give to my subscribers.

Which of the listed ones are no follow ?
IF you use this technique and don't change your IP as I described it (+cookies etc) then you might get a short lived backlink but your account and all related accounts and postings will be removed.
None of those networks like it if they are "used" for advertisement/seo.

You could get on top of Google even if your contents is just 50 words. All you have to do is to get a lot of back links and research on your topics. There are lots of keywords for anyone to be use that is not saturated. It can be a local something that not everyone would know off.

 

Can you recommmend who I can outsource this stuff to? We have an inhouse copywriter but the SEO stuff we need to outsource.

Yes and how much do they typically charge? I would expect someone to take an article, optimize it and get it ranked via backlinks. Or are their other benefits from getting SEO help?

 

Try seek individuals with good reputiation isntead of companies, you can get real good deals sometimes.

really 1.5k-3k word article? isn't that a little exaggerated?

 

Well it depends what you want to do.
If you want to push your pagerank a long article is good, if you mainly want to sell through the article i'd keep it smaller.
But google likes text, ofcourse it should focus on the keyword to be targeted.

Honest, most of serious social sites will catch you with the strategy of creating false accounts. Because you should link not only to your posts but to other as well; your accounts should be created at different dates... so on.

 

Use semi automated social bookmarkers like socialmarker.com. It has a feature to select dofollow sites only. My suggestion is to type different descriptions for each social sites for your backlinks to survive and not tagged as duplicates.

 

yea these javascript supported tools are a nice way to do it half automated, I'm not using them myself but those I tested should help to save some time.
