I have noticed a number of instances of inbound links, from sites that I do not what to link to me...is there anything that i can do to break these links?

Not sure which site you don't want linking to you, but the answer is no. All you can do is ask the person who owns the site to take down the link and if they ignore you tough luck. You can't control who links to you and google know it. I can't see how any back link can do anything but help your site.

Well...the sites in question have popped up in the last month.
They seem to be installing spyware/adware...you know, the ones that won't let you opt out of installing an active x agent to view videos and such.
Also I have noticed quite a few splogs, adult, and spam websites...auto insurance, legal (.info's) and such.

They are high on my referrer's and it bothers me, and I can't see where the link to my site actually is.
So you are saying just to let it go and work on more quality links?

I've noticed the same thing too

that and other sites that just repost my feeds (but link back)

and even a few sites that have my site in an iframe, I don't even know why they would do something like that??

You could make your main page an active page that looks at the referrer and does something Evil if it's a referrer you don't like. I don't think it would be wise, but you could do that to break undesired incoming links.
