    Hello
    I have 2 sites.
One is old, like 7 years old and i hardly pay attention to it, i dont use it.
And its PR4 and has max 50 visitors per day.
The other site I have is like 2 years old. I work hard and spend money to boost its PR, and its ranked PR2 and has 250 visitoirs per day.
How do you explain this PR issue?
How do you raise the PR?
    The site is http://www.Vagr.com
I am willing to pay for new idea in raising PR.

You can increase the PR via building relevant and quality backlinks. PR depends on number and quality of backlinks your site have.

Also, PR alone cannot help much a site to gain good rank in SERPs. PR is just one of the 200 factors that Google consider while ranking a site in SERPs.

So I suggest you work on building quality content and quality backlinks, PR will automatically improve.

PR is a lagging indicator of backlinks to your site, in reality it means absolutely nothing. I never check any of my sites for PR, as it is a complete waste of time. Focus on building high quality links and the PR will go up by itself, and high quality links will also bring in traffic.

Does it help if you offer other people links on your site in exchange with a link for your site on their site? I have seen some sites have a very long links page where they offer to add your website's link if you add theirs first.

This is where PR is actually useful. If the page they're offering a link on has a high PageRank, then it's generally good to have your link on there. I say generally, because, of course, there are exceptions.

Why do you even care about PR? PR is NOT what is going to make your site rank... PR is only one of 200+ ranking factors that Google looks at and it is a VERY minor factor now, to say the least. It no longer carries the kind of weight in their algorithm that it once did. PR0 sites outrank PR5, 6, 7 sites all day every day at Google. It's no longer about PR. It's about relevance of the refering URL and targeted link text.

The only thing PR is good for is selling links so that you can overcharge some unsuspecting webmaster who 'thinks' a link from a high-PR site is going to put them on the 'Google map'. Focus on getting links from relevant sites with targeted keyword phrases.

you need to build more quality and relevant backlinks to boost your rankings but watch out for this, google will notice it if you build your backlinks so fast and it makes a bad effect, you should build your rankings in a natural way or gradually.
