    Wow almost everyone here said either buy links or spam links. What has the world turned into?

    Get legitimate, in-context links. Try out guest blogging and earn a few links that way. Don't do anything blackhat.

    123-Ranking.com is a method of guaranteeing a serious increase in your website's Google® PageRank™ and in search engine rankings - even if your domain name is brand new.
    123-Ranking will show you;
    • How to completely avoid being “sandboxed” by Google®, and have your website in the top listings within 7 days of activation;
    • How to get a new domain name and website from PR Nothing to PR 4 within 5 weeks;
    • How to massively increase your website’s PageRank™ in the next Google® update;
    • How to do all this in less than a week, with almost no effort and very minimal cost (in fact it is pretty much done for you);
    • A real life example of a domain name and website registered and created a month and a half ago that is currently a PageRank™ of 4 with its inner pages a PageRank™ of 3;
    • A real life example of the same website in Google’s top listings – even though it’s just over a month old;
    • How simple this is, you will literally kick yourself

    I don't like this seo stuff etc. It takes too much time, gives you a headache and still you may not get higher rankings in search engines. I was having almost 10 sites in the past 3 years each with 4000+ backlinks, but none of them was able to get higher positions in search engines and all of them were stayed at PR 0 and still they are.

    I think it is better to use social media to drive traffic to your website. Yesterday, I found a site named Cracked.Com. According to alexa, its search traffic is just 5% and the rest 95% comes from facebook, twitter, digg etc. And it has an alexa rank of 1066! And social media traffic is instant! You don't need to wait.

    One of my competitor has to use buying links on a wordpress theme seller. what he used to do is get a footer link as you are doing all where mostly dofollow links. I mean the links which does not has nofollow attribute. He got around 4 millions link as per yahoo explorer.
    I easily beated that competitor by just doing normal seo stuff.
    So better have a good seo campaign running then wasting your time and money.
    So i don't believe that it will help you to rank well.
    best of luck dear

    Since google hasn't update it's PageRank for a long time, I don't think any efforts can boost. Try SERP, more realistic

    There's no easy way. But, if you want to spend money, I'd suggest buying High PR links from your niche sites/blogs instead of bulk links from no/low pr sites.. That'll surely help you to get higher PR quickly.

    The best thing you can do is to get back-links from high PR pages. Either engage yourself in link exchange or purchase links. Purchasing might prove to be quite expensive though.

    Buying high PR link all in one go can be very suspect and dangerous to your SERPs. The question is, wy do you want a high PR - surely you want high number of visitors?

    Do you mind to share some tips on your "just doing normal seo stuff" campaign?

    Thanks!

    PageRank is STRICTLY from backlinks.

    You forgot the most important bullet: :cool:
    • 123-Ranking.com will get your site penalized within two weeks!

    Blackhat cannot work in the long term. You'd be extremely lucky if your site isn't penalized by the next PageRank update.

    Does Traffic really effect your ranking? I think common sense would say yes, but soooo many people keep telling me it has ZERO effect on ranking.
    which makes no logical sense, but... anything is possible

    How does it make sense for traffic to affect your ranking? A very visited site with crappy content shouldn't rank higher than a new site with one super-nice article.

    To give you a logical reason why traffic doesn't affect ranking: How would Google measure it?
