How to blog IPs from viewing blog

    Does anyone know how to block ip's so they cannot view your blog? I want to try and prevent competitor from viewing blog.

    I have been told it is something to do with htaccess? Does anyone know the exact code please?

    Can't give you the exact code since we don't know what IP addresses you need blocked. Also considering that they could just connect from somewhere else, in this case an IP block is worthless.

    But here's how to do it:

    they have static IP addresses and I want to make it as difficult as possible.

    And they can go down to their local coffee shop and view it from there. There's no such thing as blocking access to a site for certain people. Look at all the ways folks in China get around the blocks placed by their government.

    Solutions:

    - Take it off the web

    - Get a court order to make them not view it.

    - Realize that what you want isn't possible and move on.
