HOW TO BLOCK YOUR MIND FROM THOUGHTS YOU DO NOT WANT. A mind is a powerful tool that we use every time knowingly or unknowingly to handle circumstances in our day to day activities in our lives. We use this tool wrongly and we get undesirable results which in return affects our lives directly or indirectly. In our minds we create thoughts and those thoughts become realities and those realities could be what we wanted or what we did not want. Blocking our minds from the things we do not want is very simple, because we do it all the time but we do not realize it. Therefore there is a need to understand how we can utilize that ability to block our minds from things we do not want effectively. Here are examples of how we block our minds from things we do not want; · Assuming you are sick and you visit a doctor, who examines, do tests and diagnoses that you have malaria, so the he prescribes drugs an injection happens to be among the drugs. When the injection is administered to you two things normally happen naturally you may feel pain as a result of it, or you may not feel it. So when you feel pain, it means you allowed your mind through a thought to feel it and when you do not feel the pain, it means you blocked your mind from feeling it by putting a thought in it not to think pain. · Another example could be you may not see me even if I meet with you if you block your mind not to see me. · Another example could be you may not hear what am saying even though am with you if you block your mind not to hear what am saying because of maybe am boring you with what am saying. · Another example could be you may not feel cold in a cold weather because you did not put on warm clothing when you left the house or you may not feel warm in a hot weather because you left the house when it was cold and you put on warm clothing and the weather changes and becomes very hot and you cannot remove your clothing for a reason. If you block your mind from feeling cold or warm you may not feel it because it is all in our minds. There are so many examples that we could use in our day to day life because they are realities. So, how do you block your mind? Very simple, just do not think about it, period. Those bad thoughts will keep on coming to your mind, but just refuse to think about it by just focusing your mind on good things that you want and feel as if you already have them and your mind will be blocked from the things you do not want. Every human being has the potential to do this. Those who know it they do it all the time without struggle because they have made it part of them, but those who have no idea, they keep on feeling pain, seeing what they do not want to see, hearing what they do not want to hear, feeling cold or warm and so no and so forth. We need to learn how to use our minds positively for success in our happiness, our lives, our families, our relationships, our jobs and even our businesses. When I try to not thing what I want during free time, I start thinking more about it. But when infront of my PC, I forget everything meaning the thinking which I didn't want, doesn't comes anymore.

you dont really need to block your mind.. if you block your mind from things you dont want.. its almost the same as bottling it up.. and when it gets to the stage where you cant block it.. your going to have months of bottling up and some poor bugger is going to be on the reciving end of it!!

@MarketWithChris In any society there are rules and regulations.Without them you have chaos and anarchy.DP is no exception,there are rules.You have neither hurt nor offended me,you have merely broken the rules and I have pointed them out to you.Newcomers such as yourself ought to read the rules "BEFORE" they decide to come on here and post threads.Had you done so you would have found things infinatly easier. You seem to want to make this about me persecuting you,do you enjoy receiving pity?
It is really difficult to keep yourself away from the thoughts you do not want to come to your mind. But the best way is to keep your self busy.
I agree with you @Alicia Madison, that it's not easy to keep yourself away from thoughts you don't want to come to your mind, however, with determination it can be done. We are just sharing experienses here, if keeping ourselves busy would keep unwanted thought away, well and good. The bottom line is, it can be done.
