Hi, There is someone who stoles my blog's content i know his IP adress and i want to block his IP because he mustn't stole my content. thanks, regards.
That depends upon the type of site you are using. If you want to remove the copied from another source then you can take help from DMCA.
i searched and i found something "htaccess" but there is nothing such htaccess on blogger however thank you.
Honestly there's not much you can do. Put a copyright in your material and if they copy it then issue a DMCA against them. Blocking an IP address won't do much considering it's extremely easy to spoof an ip with a proxy.
Easiest is to use A Wordpress PLugin called BAN IP which provides custom message when the site is visited from those IP and They no longer can Get access to your pages. Its Very efficient. Well, Htaccess also works out, but the plugin makes the things one touch. Thanks
Unless you switch from blogger to paid hosting and wordpress or some other blogging software, there is nothing you can do. You can't block ip's (And do many other things) when you are using a free blogger blog.
hi fellas, i solved my problem oncontextmenu="return false" onselectstart="return false" ondragstart="return false" Code (markup): i used it thats it
Copy the address from your browsers address bar. Open Notepad.exe and press CTRL+O When the Open File dialog pops up, press CTRL+V after selecting the place there the file name shows, it should paste the URL from your browsers address bar that you copied before. Then select Open/Ok or whatever the buttons label is, you should see your article text in Notepad.
lcwadminbj, you're not looking at the big picture, the reason why they want to block an IP address. Read everything again, but this time ignore any mention of an IP address.
The original question was "How to block an IP address" was it not? ergo why should i ignore any mention of an IP address? forget it i am unsubscribing to this thread as it is obviously being posted to by idiots.
Since you're obviously a genius of Kanye West caliber, lcwadminbj, let me attempt to explain what was going through my feeble mind in this thread, and what caused me to post what I did. First, we have the original post. From this I'm able to determine two things. 1) Someone is stealing their content 2) They want to stop that person from stealing their content by preventing that persons IP from the server Shortly after, we have the thread starter letting us know the following piece of information. That basically kills the idea of blocking an IP address right then and there. You don't get that kind of control over a Blogger account. Awhile later, posted by none other than the thread starter, we have this. Now I'm just a programmer, but I'm a programmer that knows what that code is doing. I'm also observant enough to see that they believe this code is the solution to their problem, that problem being, they want to stop someone from stealing their content. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm replying to threads trying to help the thread starter, and if possible, anyone who comes by to read the thread later. Since I know they're using a blogger blog, it would be pointless to continue on with the IP blocking idea. Instead, I point out a simple way that the "solution" can be bypassed. What I did was no different from hollering at someone who was about to shoot themselves in teh foot to stop a mosquito from sucking the blood out of it. Maybe if I was a marketer like you, instead of a programmer, I wouldn't be such an idiot...
