How to best keep track of domains

Im looking for advice on how to best keep track of my domain names (and their associated info - regstrars, dates, etc...). I have been using a spreadsheet, but now with over 200 domains, I have found it becomes unwieldy at best. How do you guys and gals do it, and do you have any advice for me?

    Thanks

DRT (Domain Research Tool) is very good for that and other purposes, but pretty expensive.

If you plan to do domaining for a living though, IMO it's definitely worth it.

push all domains to the same register. it helps a lot. i've got all my domains at namecheap and they'll warn you a month before a domain expires.

consolidate at a single (or a couple) registrars is the easiest way. Also generally get best pricing.

Very good memory here, about the same number, keep every detail in my mind only. Don't see the point in writing them down, may think about it when I get up to about 4 figures, but before then, what's the point in wasting paper? ;)

By the way, this is awful advice to other people, get at least yourself a notebook and WRITE Them Down as soon as you purchase them, with the date registered, how long registered for and where you regg'ed the names. Do not try and memorise them as I do, unless you have simple tools in your head for remembering quantities of facts and figures.

I should have made this more clear in the first place, my apologies.

Although I do not have nearly half as many domains as you, I personally keep a list in Excel with headings for the actual domain, the extension, expiry date and registrar.

    Never had any problems yet.
