How to Begin To Promote my Website?

Well I started a new website yesterday because I was bored and I am having some difficulty in figuring out how to promote it. My plan is to use social networking sites such as twitter and facebook as the main means to promote it, but the trouble is I need to build my followers in order to make that happen. I was planning on releasing a few youtube videos with a link back to my website but am looking for more suggestions.

I think your website has social media value - remember its a competitive world and you need to stand out and make your story interesting. Also idenfify some keywords and spend some time getting organic SE traffic

 

Not bad. That was a funny video of the guy pulling his groin. Keep updating it I might visit it occasionally. With respect to promotion, try writing an article about humor and submit it to the article directory in my signature and a link to the link directory in my signature...hope it goes well...

i would go with organic SE traffic and try to build on that. SE traffic is going to be the best way to build up to more than just a 100 or so visits per day
