How to become an author of some Yahoo articles?

    It looks like they paid for rights to republish a professional piece from a magazine publisher. Chances are that the bulk of their material is handled this way, meaning they may not accept articles from "outsiders." You could always try to find a name of someone in the editorial department and pitch them as you would pitch traditional outlets.

    I agree with you and my experience with Yahoo also supports what you wrote. Yahoo is not open to submissions of work and they don't have an editorial department for the public. In fact, Yahoo doesn't have any departments that are really open to the public and there is no way to contact them that they will respond to - except through their advertising and customer service departments and that would be for correspondence related to paid advertisements, Yahoo accounts or any other form of Yahoo activity that brings Yahoo $$$.

    They do not accept open submissions to my knowledge. I looked but I could not find a contact either. Good luck with your journey!
