You must work all time. You can create new SEO or use very well old. Think, Think & Work - simle if you know that you do

 

If its age of site and quality or quantity of links then the shortcut is to buy an aged domain with existing links and that's ridiculously easy to accomplish for peanuts.

 

I guess same rules as google. good content and a hell load of links

 

I dont know about yahoo much but i just tend to get number one in google
more than i do in yahoo. I think yahoo wants quanity of back links instead of
quality such as Bille mentioned

 

Oh I thought you have some tip to become number one at Yahoo!... the title sucks...

build more backlinks, add your page on yahoo free directory. that might help.

 

still finding the way to be first at yahoo, I just has a blog, not index by google but good at yahoo, but still don't understand why

 

I have a site about 6 month old, the first month I love to update the site, but after that I get bored of this site and change it to a dummies site for my other site. As time goes by... as today this dummies site rank number 1 in yahoo with the targeted keyword which I planned in the previous 6 month. With only 21 backlink and over 100 outboundlink. I really don't get it how this site can be number 1 in yahoo search engine. A lovely suprise nevertheless, but the page is in crap condition right now with many outbound link in the pages.

 

I forgot, there is my other site which also abandon by me has getting a good traffic from yahoo. I check this with my other webmaster friend and they all agree they couldn't understand yahoo search engine, A site of friend of mine, has abandon his site for almost a year.. now he's getting a paycheck from the site conversion... he is getting a traffic from yahoo..

So to answer your question how to be rank 1 in yahoo... I simply don't know... o btw my friend site has 0 backlink.

 

Keyword density, Site structure, Backlinks, and Aging ---- I think this was the very best answer.

 

Just Make Quality Content Relevant with Keyword. u will be #1 in yahoo search ...

Yahoo sucks donkey dicks!

Here's why:

For a search of "Sacramento DJs" -- the spammiest web titles (DJ sacramento, Sacramento DJs, wedding disc Jockey Sacramento) would rank higher in Yahoo than mine (who has a variety of key words and not stuffing the same key words).

At Google, where my site is #1....my title says "Sacramento" only once, and says "DJs" only one time.


80% of my business comes from Google.

I don't give a rat's @ss about Yahoo, but have noticed a slight uptick in business from Yahoo recently!

(search Yahoo for : "DJs in Sacramento CA" -- my site is #3, with Yelp biz profile at #10)

So maybe Yahoo doesn't suck after all......

Still focusing on Google....

Yahoo use bookmarking very seriously ..if you do continuous bookmarking i am sure your site will be in up in yahoo..
Its proven in my case.

I would like to point you one more thing ...I recently got one top results in yahoo by only bookmarking.
Its really amaze thing and yahoo rocks for bookmarking.

 

Yahoo is pretty good for social bookmarking..we got good results for yahoo by just doing bookmarking.

 

I used to be number one in Yahoo for some keywords when I first started my site, perhaps Yahoo likes new sites?


I'd much rather be in position one in Google, I get 80% of my traffic from Google and a tiny amount from Yahoo

 

my domain is musictips.org is #2 under "music tips" keywords and #1 under "music tips 2008" for example.
