    just by luck! KISS answer :) . Actually there are loads of rummors about some dirty tricks with yahoo ranking , so far I tested few things and surprise NOTHING work like expected ! Only some good results ( decent one but not no.1 was using drupal ... but for long tail keywords ... )

    Hehe a easy trick that i have heard of is yahoo answers =) depending on your niche yahoo answers can easily create enough backlinks to catapult you to the top

    I don't think Yahoo Answers will get you to become number 1 in Yahoo search. It's definitely age of the site and the quantity of backlinks as opposed to the quality with Google.

    I believe that what Elward said. I never tried yahoo answers but most of my keywords are getting #1 in Yahoo.

    Only quantity of backlinks will help us to get #1 in Yahoo

    That's not otherwise link spammers would rule Yahoo serps but I don't see that.
    Yahoo has some kind of trust rank and page ranking filter in their algo.


    A number 1 listing on Yahoo requires a careful look at serps and link backs.

    One noticeable difference between yahoo and google is social bookmarking.

    social bookmark has more weight on yahoo then google and if you use popular social bookmarking site effectively then yahoo will rank you way up.
