Hi, I recently designed 2 websites for these 2 organizations over the summer for volunteer, which means I didn't get any profit, etc. This was to expand my portfolio. All I asked of them was to write me a letter of recommendation saying that I had designed their website for them so that I could show for proof if needed. Almost all of the websites I've done for volunteer have sent me a letter, except these 2 organizations, and I guess it's my loss. My question is: what methods can I go about to prevent this from happening in the future? I've recently thought about putting my name into the source code for any future projects, but they could just delete that if they knew a little bit about coding. Thanks.
You could always try to incorporate a small logo or signature into the footer image of the site, something that would be hard to remove, but small.
Yes they could edit the images. Why not u take some undertaking on some legal paper before starting their site?
