I recently spend over a $100 advertising for my website, which helped a bit because, my site was dead. So after some time the visitors start to decline and nothing comes to mind in order to keep them flowing. Is there a way to constantly keep getting visitors? I have an image hosting website, basically i need people uploading images to keep it alive.
There are a lot of image hosting sites out there. If you want people to keep going to yours, you need to make it something special. You can buy all the advertising in the world, but if your visitors are leaving with that "meh, it was alright" thought then they're probably not going to return. I use 2 image hosting sites. Photobucket so that my images are stored and organized (I spend a lot of time on forums and generally need to get to my pictures) and Imageshack.us for quick uploads of pics I only need once. Go look at Imageshack, Photobucket, and Flickr. They're all doing something right. Figure out what it is, then take that idea and expand on it. You need your website to be unique, memorable, and user friendly. Then traffic will start flowing. And people will start telling others about it (c'mon, those "how do I upload pics" questions pop up hundreds or thousands of times every day). Make sure your site is monetized and you'll be doing just fine.
