How to base your ad sale prices

    How does everyone base their ad prices?

    For me I just base it off what I make from my CPM banners and charge a bit more.

    Is that what everyone does?

    I usually check around other websites that are similar to mine and see how much they charge. So, I just get the average and charge that much.

    Hmm, yea but I run CPM ads if I sell for less then that I see no point to even sell spots. lol

    Well we all have different websites, with different ideas. We will not always agree on everything, therefore we won't be charging same rates for ads on our sites.

    While for me i based my ads price is depend on the monthly average unique visitor x $0.10 for rotated banner with total of 20 rotated banner each time.
