how to ban an IP address ( a user)

    a user keep posting spam on my drupal site,, is there any way to ban his ip address?

    yoursite.com/admin/user/rules

    Also try modules as reCAPTCHA or Mollom.

    I like the GoAway module, since you can redirect banned members to a page that explains why they can't access the site, however politely or rudely you wish to do so, and it's extremely easy to use :)

    The TROLL module will let you see their IP and block it or block by their username/email address.. I did a writeup in my blog a while back on blocking A-holes a while back: How We Block Proxies and assholes
