How to backup and save all shared hosting files to my HDD?

I'm having several websites hosted on a shared hosting server, under one account. I want to make a backup and save it to my HDD (files+mysql db) just in case.

Anyone can please help on this matter. Thank you.

    Faster?
If you're using a FTP client with a GUI, you can copy your files in a single Drag'n Drop, and do the SQL export in just a few steps using PHPMyAdmin..
If that's not fast enough, you'd have to get a faster internet connection.

i can export all mysql databases once?
or i must export each one seaparately?

if your database was come with only 1 database name then you can export all but if you have separate database name you can export it separately :)

if you want automatic backup you can ask your hosting provider to make it for your account

do you have cpanel ? If so, use the backup function and simply download what you need.
