How to back up only ......... ??

    How to backup only posts, pages, comments,category, tags from wordpress blog not full data base which include theme, structure, plugins.

    i use wp-db manager, they create database which include everything.

    im new WP, can anyone suggest something

    Use Wordpress Export tool instead. It will backup only posts, pages, comments,categories and tags.

    If you're backing up for a "worst case scenario" situation, you should use WP Export (as suggested above), but also make sure you've got a full backup of your entire database (e.g. phpMyAdmin>Export).

    1 - Wordpress Export tool have two option all author and Administrator, so i have to export data one by one.

    2 - im import section you see - Maximum size: 8MB, how can import file if it is more than 8 mb.

    3 - can you tell me what exactly include - full backup of your entire database

    I use a plugin called WP-DB-Backup. Try it.

    It allows manual selecting tables you want to download.

    You can download selected tabled manually from PHP MyAdmin yourself.

    which files i selected, so i get only posts, pages, comments,category, tags

    will i edit the sql file to import it to my another wordpress blog (suppose - www.B.com) and after uploading sql file the previous posts of www.B.com will live or the sql file upload over the previous post of www.B.com
