How to back up files on wordpress?

    I was told to back up files on word press sites and I don't know how because I am new on this field. Has someone can help me on this. ASAP ..thanks

    download all the files from ftp / web host panel (keep in a folder) and take a backup of the database !!

    You can use plugins to do it. One I am using is WP-Dropbox and is a nice plugin and does all work automatically.

    Hi.

    I always backup my files and site using backup buddy. Backup buddy is a premium plugin, but worth every penny. It backs up both your database and full website in about 15-20 seconds, you then have an option of where to add the backup zip file. The other option the plugin provides are, migration and site restore.
