Google Adwords does not like you to buy words that are completely not on the landing page. I recently did some experiments and tried to buy sports celebrity names. It worked well at first (5 hours) when my ad had 9,000 impressions and 15 clicks for .10 a click but then my quality score dropped. Now the minimum CPC is $10. My ad went something like this for a retailer. "Does _____ shop here? No he's sponsored, but for everyone else try us!" www.blank.com Has anyone done an experiment to design a landing page that has words that match your adword to see if it prevents the $10 charge from kicking in?
It's a lot more involved that just having the words on the page. Your campaign started strong, Google compared it to others and reduced your QS due to poor performance. 9K impressions with 15 on the search network is pretty poor performance no matter how you look at it.
Your advert's the problem. If only 0.2% of the searchers are clicking on your advert, your advert isn't working. Test a new one. Keep the better one. Test another new one. etc. But I'd suggest that if you want people to read your adverts, you've got to make them eyecatching. Also, make sure that the search term appears prominently, ideally in the title...
Sorry, but that ad is pretty poor... I can't figure out what you're trying to sell & there's absolutely no call to action. What in the world does "No, he's sponsored" mean? It's definitely your ad text that's the issue, which is why you have a very poor CTR & why Google slapped you.
Until you figure out what's really going on it's the metrci most people hang their hat on. It's nowhere near "king" or "most important". Nowhere.
