    Hi guys
I been working in that industry for years
my office working with the same clients for a very long time supplying links on weekly bases

here is few tips to avoid scams

    1. Find 1-2 marketing offices that will work finding links for you and having money refund/links replacements options - the same as you using brokers for stocks there is brokers for links - it is a profession

    2. sellers - NEVER agree on 3 month deals - most of the crammers will buy a link from you for 3 month and sell it to the client for 6/12 month

    3. use ONLY paypal - it's the only insurance you have at least for the first 45 days - moneybookers usually used by eastern countries which unfortunately 90% of the scammer from there
    4. IF somebody claims that it is his own site then ask him to place sample link in 10 minutes - from my experience a scammer will say ok and simply go away

I can admit that I been scammed as well sometimes but it was only 3 times at a period of 6 years so I guess my tips is working

    Hope I helped cheers

Useful tips. I've actually used #4 very often. It's one of the most fail-proof methods I've been able to find. Thank you for the other three!

    Thanks for sharing this, OP.

It would be good if someone would put up a list of "trusted" resources to deal with for links.
Nowadays it looks like everybody has links for sale but, at the end, those are only expired domains with a quick wordpress installation + 5 x $2 articles aka = no value at all.

For quality, trusted links, I recommend @DiggitySEO . He offers pretty high quality backlinks and great SEO advice as well. He's definitely one of the best guys I've worked with.

^^ I agree with thecubehost, @DiggitySEO is the only guy I use for links.. The reason I use him is because he owns all the websites he links from, consistently updates his content and anytime I get a few links from him, my site ranks unbelievably fast..

While me and buddy bought links in the past we've met with the various things mentioned above. We were scammed much more than 6 times.

Just because of circumstances like these, we came up with an idea to develop link trading platform (named Linkworkers) where we can control all.

    1. step + 2. step
We control everything regards to monitoring of the whole "buying / selling links process" on behalf of both - Buyers and Sellers.

    3. step
We support PayPal, but anyway we manually check each link placed to determine if Seller has removed it. If that happens, our Buyers can report this to us via ticketing system and we will stop paying installments to such Seller. Funds for remaining period will be sent back to Buyer account. So no fraud at all!

    4. step
In order to verify ownership of some website we do a verification of it. During the verification process, Sellers need to verify ownership by simply uploading small letter code or txt document on their Website. After our review, if all conditions (minimal requirements) are met, we will mark such a website as approved and active.

You can read more about our idea on "How It Works" section of the website.

We think it is interesting and well developed, but we are always happy to hear your opinion.

    Thanks a lot! :)

We are trying to satisfy both sides. We have strictly criteria for approving of websites.
We don't allow spam, weak websites and we perform detailed review of each one.

Ok... feel free to ask anything.

Hello Marko, first question: speaking as a site owner, I have several sites in italian language. Could you add that language to the list of supported languages?

    You welcome, dude.

One more: would you add "books and literature" to the category list?
Also, since the website is in italian, the description must be in italian and/or english language?

    Thanks.

I agree with the above 2 posters. @DiggitySEO is hands down the best I've ever worked with, and I've worked with at least 10 different vendors.

    Hello,

We'll add very soon your suggested categories and msg you about that. ;-)

You can write only 1-2 sentence on English about your website. If you write on Italian we need to translate it. Anyway, you can put your websites in "Other (not listed)" category for now.
