How to avoid incorrect Duplicate Thread infraction Bug?

Since 2nd Feb 2012, I have been trying to create a thread with respect to Directory submission.

Everytime I try to create a thread I get an infraction, saying Duplicate thread and Thread is deleted by Mod.

I have checked my account, I dont have any thread open with respect to Directory submission, ALL ARE CLOSED, the one which is open is for selling of my domain.

    Please see the attachments...

In attachment infraction mail: this link is for original thread: Original Post:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2532180&p=17920677#post17920677

This thread has also been deleted.

I have sent the PM to the Mods and Admin, N number of times before starting this thread, but all in vain.

The infraction mail is incomplete, it should have both the thread link's, which are being compared, thus I am clueless by checking the infraction mail.

My question is, what should I do, so that this doesn't happen again? Duplicate thread infraction and deletion of my thread again and again.

A thread being closed has nothing to do with it not being a duplicate or not. If you request your thread to be closed it doesn't somehow magically make it okay to make a duplicate thread.

To answer your question on how to avoid the "duplicate thread infraction bug" would be to simply not create a duplicate thread, then you don't run into that bug.

You mean, if once I created a thread with respect to Directory submission and closed it.

Now I can not create a thread wrt directory submission even though old thread with Directory submissions are closed? and also can't reopen my old thread?

So how would I create a thread for directory submission?

Why did you make a request to close it if you didn't want it closed?

Bcoz, at that time, I had to stop working due to unavoidable medical reasons and was getting unnecessary PM/posts.

Now I am somewhat recovered and wanted to start my work again so that I can earn few bucks.

Note: I do love DP very much, and if you check my records, I have nevered spammed, never created unnecessary posts etc.

Best thing to do is just request your original thread is reopened.

Use the Report Post option (same way you requested it to be closed).
