Most likely the special software is installed on your computer that tracks all the keys you enter and then send them to hacker.

Chances are you have a keylogger installed on your computer. Or, someone on your network has a packet sniffer installed.

The packet sniffer will grab data from your packets as they are sent to the server. Unless you are using a secure site - https - to log in, the password is being transmitted in clear text. If Gmail offers a secure log in site, with https, then use it instead of the usual http site. The "S" at the end of the http defines whether its secure or not. This will encrypt your password as its sent over the internet.

Make sure your system is up to date with all of the latest security patches, install an anti-virus, install maylware bytes and adaware and do a full scan of your computer.

Does anyone have access to your computer besides you? Are you going to a college or university where you are on a shared network?

The reason I am asking about the college or university, if you are hanging around a bunch of people taking a programming class, maybe one of them wrote a custom script and installed it on your computer. If that is the case, anti-virus and spyware may not find it.

If someone is hacking your account every couple of days, they have access to your computer. Either that, or your using really easy to guess passwords.

Avoid using your gmail account from a shared pc or from a public place. Since it is a same hacker, it is most likely that there is a keylogger installed in your pc. Try to scan the same using good anti-virus, anti-spyware software.

Kev has given an exhaustive answer to that. I would suggest changing your keyword (do not use vocabulary words, mix letters with numbers, use upper & lower case). If that does not help, corner the piece of software giving you all the trouble.

Gmail is very secure from the account security related issues but you should first of all scan your computer using powerful tools to ensure nothing is scanning your typed letters.

You better change your Password if that guy is still doing the same thing
better avoid using public computers. Are you using them? And be sure you log-out your account before you leave.
or better create another account if you think that is the best option.
