how to avoid Duplicate meta descriptions vb4

    in webmaster tools,
    there are 800+ Duplicate meta descriptions errors & 170+ duplicate title tags.. how to resolve those.. I am sure. this i not only for me.. most of the Vb users have the same problem.. is there any solution to resolve this.

    I would either remove the meta description tag completely or put there variables with the thread title, author's name or other information. That way the description would be always unique for each thread.
