How to avoid devaluing rankings whilst offering translated versions of your website?

    Hi,

We are going to be translating our website into Arabic and then if this is a success many other languages too in the future.

How do I avoid Google lowering my ranking because my translated version could be considered duplicate content as such?

What advice would you give me for keeping in line with SEO? We have very good keyword rankings currently.

What URL format should the translated versions look like? Should I exclude spiders with a robots file?

    Thanks

Look one of the pages or the homepage is going to be your first primary resource absorbing all the links and rankings and the other secondary pages could be the subdomains.

Try working on your main site.
