Mmmm yes and no .... each post takes 1 minute to create. It's just targeted posts - the trick is knowing what's popular and predicting what people will search for in the future, take Obama for instance : you know he'll win, so get a head start - people will search for acceptance speech, acceptance speech video, Obama wins, Obama's dog, etc. etc. I had these posts up one day before Obama won ..... simple tactics.
I think facebook and stumble upon help much i making contact with most of the people so your business can run up.
Both are low on traffic though .... online quick and easy = 4 searches per day and that's when people search for steroids. online quick and easy with fast cash for newbies = 0 searches per day. LoL yeah .... dropped a little now though - as I have had the weekend off.
With adwords just you can change the settings so that your ad only shows in search results. For free advertising you could give article marketing a shot, but be prepared to spend some time.
Article marketing and setting up a free Squidoo lens related to the products your selling or your site's theme are always good ideas. For two reasons. One, you get some organic traffic from people reading your articles at external directories (ezinearticles, goarticles, searchwarp are my current faves.) But more importantly you get a nice backlink to your site, which in turn increases Google's regard for your site. And then Google will raise your organic rankings in the engines for your keywords. Of course, in extremely competitive markets you are going to have to get lots of backlinks to your site that relate to your site's keywords to move up in Google's organic rankings. But it's worth building them because when Google sees a lot of backlinks to your site you'll get good placements in the search engines which then brings you a lot more traffic than you had before. It's a process - doesn't happen overnight, but you just need to get working at it. Dan
if you want a lot of visitor would come to your site : - a great content is a must - get social. If you had a lot of friends, promote your website to them, so they will promote to their friends. and so on.. - simple but interesting web, you have to choose a right composition of color's, font, picture, etc (compatible to your web)
For most sites it matters not how many visitors you get, heck there are services that will send you 60k of rubbish hits per day for a small fee if you want numbers. What you really need is quality visitors who are going to need and want your product/service.
Develope good quality content, package it as a manual or tutorial and then submit it to Tutorial portals. This way you'll get free links that will increase your PR and also more traffic
SCLEK, You want traffic, you need to first start by setting up your digital point signature.. I would have checked your site if it was there.. Its a bunch of little things that add up to a bunchof traffic. Bookmarking, hitting the free classifieds, myspace, facebook.. Hold off on the adwords, unless you have loads of cash..
design is important, your site should be professional. try using stumbleupon, digg and reddit, you can get traffic from 1000 visitors to 100000 visitors
I would recommend doing link backs with people, making and using a twitter, myspace, and facebook, etc. and offering free stuff. It could be anything from candy to keychains or pencils. Who knows. Its not that hard. You could also post a link to your free stuff on slickdeals to reach a large audience!
