How to attract more readers to a coupon style website?

I just wonder what I can do next to attract more readers to my coupon website? I already tried many methods:

    - I tried yahoo answers , result is so so.
    - I tried ezinearticles, average 10-20 visitors per day.
    - I tried wordpress, blogger.com , 1-5 visitors per day from that.
    - I tried squidoo, hubpages, average 2-10 vistors per day.
    - I tried facebook, twitter, average 1-4 vistors per day.
    - SEO, average 100 visitors from Google.

What to do next? Below are something I know but failed.

    1) Forum post. Because my site is a coupon site, I cannot post the link to fatwallet or gotadeal forums because they don't allow user to post any link to competitor site. And I don't know what other forums I can use.
    2) Press R.
    3) PPC , I tried before, but not worthy.
    4) PPV, tried stumbleupon, not good. 200 visitors without any sale!

Now I don't know how to do for next step.
Do you have any good suggestion?

    Thanks and best regards,

How did your SEO traffic convert? Did you pay for it or do it yourself?

That looks like something you could scale a bit. 100 avg is good...it means you could raise that bar to 150-200 with a little work.

How many advertisers are you promoting? I would think if a coupon shopper wanted coupons...they'd possibly browse around and see how many deals they can get. I would jam as many as you can...tons of coupon content!

Work on your site design...does your site 'look' as good as your #1 competitor? If not, that's a problem too. Aesthetics can improve conversions just as much as ad placement. Do some searches, see what other popular coupon affiliates are doing with their sites - see if you can't get some ideas on how they present the coupons/offers to the user and that will help for sure.

Hope this helps...coming from someone without a coupon site, but the idea has crossed my mind. Good luck, don't give up on the SEO...you can turn that into a nice little consistent money maker if you give it some more work.

You could try putting your links on retailmenot.com actually. It's a really popular one, but you could use it to build a backlink to your site and pull some visitors.
