I am wondering what is the best way to attract affiliates to promote my product?

I am looking to attract people who are already successful affiliate
    marketers.

Pleople who know what they are doing and can produce
    results.

People who will actully take action.

I have a great product and good sales page.

My product is a monthly subscription and I pay out residual monthly commissions to affiliates.

Now all I need is real affiliates to help me promote this any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Rob

based on your link it looks like you dont need affiliates! perhaps you should approach some of the large forums for partnerships - after all you are trying to sell to newbies!

searching for make money online sites and blogs and approaching them is good.

as for where the real affiliates are, well I am a real affiliate. just keep posting on relevant forums, someone may take some notice.

    Thanks for your response.

    Good information.

My site really is not focused on the newbie. It provides information for most anyone except fully advanced but even they may find something that would be useful to them.

There are advanced lessons as well as newbie type things. I guess it depends on your level of knowledge as to wheter it is of value to you or not.

Most marketers who have been doing this stuff for 5 to 10 years should know most of whats on my site. But you would be amazed how many do not and will find great value in whats there. I have 150 members now and good majority of them have been tryign to make money on line now for years with no success.

Someone well rounded who has been doing this for 10 years naturally would not find great value in what I have to say. It really depends on the person, where their focus has been and how much time they have invested in the past.

I do have a couple of question for you.

I am curious why you think I do not need affiliates? I am selling a product, it's a membership site. Affiliates can earn monthly residual income from referring people to my site. I guess I just don't understand your comment.

Being a successful affiliate marketer how do you select which products you promote. What is the most important thig to you when chosing a product?

    Thanks

    Rob

I'm very confused about your product... on this forum you're coming across like you don't know much and asking for help which is ok everyone needs help from time to time.

BUT on your webpage Rob Franta (you) is earning $30,000 a month and is an expert affiliate marketer, on of the videos by a guy called Neil says "Rob is probably one of the best internet marketers I know" yov've got to assume two things... Neil doesn't know many people or something fishy is happening here.

As an affiliate marketer I find the most important thing is to promote products you believe in, I have to say from what I've seen and read I'm confused.

Dave I can unsderstand your confusion. However, your post was very demeaning and actually was taken as a slam aginst me and my site. If you had confusiuon you should of just sent me a pm. Attacking my integrity is not the way to go about things.

There are 4 different things here we are talking about.

1 affiliate marketing in which I do the marketing of a given product.
2 affiliate marketing where I find people to market my product for me.
3 network marketing companies like amway, Global Resorts, ETC where most sales are made belly to belly.
4 internet marketing selling products on the internet. Laymans terms.

My expertise is in items 1, 3 and 4: network marketing, internet marketing, and affiliate marketing where I am the one doing the marketing or teaching people to do the marketing. This is where I make all of my income and this is where my teachings and mentorship comes in.

The products I sell on the internet are network marketing companies and products. I teach people to build downlines in these companies and how to use the internet to promote said products and companies. But as you know as well as I do, once you know how to sell things on the internet the product is not important.

Since you slammed my integrity with your post I feel the need to explain my income. A good portion of my income, currently over 60% is produced from people in my downline in these network marketing companies. They are making sales that I earn commission from, they are in my downline. They can easily make these sales because of the mentoring and teachings that I provide.

How to find and actually have affiliates promoting my marketing website for me is not my expertise. But is what my curent focus is and is the reason for this post. I have never ran my own affiliate program before but have sold numerous products for others. I am asking for help in running my own affiliate program.

I know what I looked for when I was marketing affiliate products. Payout was #1 factor to me then product somthing I beleived in. Naturally I would not promote anything I did not think was a good product. But I also would not promote good products with poor payout.

I am wondering if this is a general concensus of affilaite marketers. I am also wonder what is the best way to attract these affiliate marketers and have them promoting my product. The second reason for my post.

So as you can see my expertise and my goal here are two different things.

As for Neil and the other testimonies on my site, keep in mind my target market is the network marketing community, those looking to expand their business online and get away from the belly to belly promoting. Neil is a long term networker that tried for many years to be successful online with his business with little success. He see's the value of what I provide.

My target market is not successful marketers like yourself and other members of this site. Naturally you will not see the value because you may know all of this already. There are people with less knowledge in internet marketing that will really find value in what I offer. Everyone has knowledge in some areas and needs more knowledge in other areas. Some peole starting off have no knowledge and don't even know where to go for it.

The proof is in the 47 million websites that offer similar services as I do.

I hope this helps clarify things for you.

I wrote a few articles describling my program and I posted them on my blogs and myspace.
I pick up one or two affiliates steady everyday.
About 10% of those actually make an attempt to promote the link.

You hit the nail on the head! Most of the people who sell ideas/ebooks to make money online, actually make peanuts themselves. Seen a lot of such people asking very basic questions here :)

You know all of you guys can really keep your childish thoughts to yourself.

It amaze's me, I came in here looking for some help and get slammed with with comments from the peanut gallery that know nothing about me.

You sure do know how to make someone feel welcome.

You guys need to quit trolling forums looking for people to pick on.

Please leave my thread alone. My question was not do you think I make money online. Personally, I really don't care what you think about me.

If you don't have anything useful to say please stay out of my thread.

I had no intention in "slamming" or "Attacking my integrity" I was just offering up an opinion, after all this is a public forum, If I had known you was so easily offended I would not of bothered.

In light of you clearly taking my comments so hard I found this article and hopefully it might help you:
