you have to generate traffic first. Asking for advertisers is like advertising on TV. you have to catch the public attention first. which, is easier said than done.

Should be top in the Search Engines { Google, Yahoo, MSN } most probably your Blog should be Listed in Top of Search Engine 2. Your Weblog should be User Friendly.
