How to assign sites on VPS their own IP address

Hi all, this feels like I might be asking a dumb question but I've searched extensively and yet to find a satisfactory response.

I recently got set up with my first VPS, which Ive got WHM and cPanel on it. I also purchased 6 dedicated IP addresses, which are all on their own C classes.

For SEO purposes I'd like to assign some of my sites to different IPs, rather than keeping them all on the same one, as this would reduce the value of interlinking greatly.

I have looked through WHM extensively but not found out how to do this (other than setting up multiple instances of cPanel, which seems like a huge waste of resources).

Does anyone know how to do this. I don't need the IP addresses themselves to be dedicated, more than one site can be on each IP, just not my ones within the same niche.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

If you have a VPS, its better to add each of the website as a separate account instead of creating one account and adding the rest as add-on domains. Either way it is going to use same resources.

If you add each website as a separate account, you have the option 'Change Site's IP Address' under WHM -> IP Functions to assign each website a dedicated IP.

If you create one account and add the remaining websites under it as add-on domains, you won't be able to assign dedicated IPs to each domain from cPanel/WHM, you will have to assign the IPs manually from shell by editing the required files.
