Hi All,

I am looking for your tips and general advice on assessing Adwords data. Things like what to look for, what to act on and how to act.

For the purpose of this exercise, I have included some hypothetical data below, for people to provide their advice on:

Keyword
Clicks
Impressions
CTR
Avg CPC
Cost
Avg Pos.
Page Visits
Avg Time

Keyword #1
11,300
400,000
2.83%
$0.09
$1017.00
4.7
3.5
00:02:30

Keyword #2
1,200
20,000
6.00%
$0.07
$84.00
3.1
4.8
00:03:30

Now assuming that all other things are equal, settings, Max Bid of $0.10 etc

1. What observations can you make from the above data?
2. What would you be looking to try and change?
3. What adjustments would you make to the Maximum bid for each keyword?

Cheers

Jake

You have not included your conversion and conversion rate. Include mention 2 things in your chart then i can track your keyword quality score and CTR.

Need Quality Score. If QS is 7 and up, I'd increase bids to get closer to top position. Knowing the conversion rate would be nice too.

How does adsense actually work and does really make the kind of money it claims?
