Hi there, So for example you have tracked down an "authority" website in your niche, and decide you want to do a link exchange. What method do you try first?? Do you go through the "Contact Us" page? Is there a typical email format you use? Thanks in advance!
One solid advice I can give is that always pretend to be a female who is the head of link exchange department. It works even if you are the only one for your site. Best of luck. But don't do too much link exchange and never with irrelevant sites. It hurts big time.
I've had good success contacting the site and telling them why my site would be valuable to their visitors. I always go after a one way link. Sometimes they answer back that they'll trade a reciprocal which I do...but so far it's about 75% one ways and 25% reciprocals. Just keep in mind you may need to contact a lot of other webmasters before you get a bite. But when you do, the links are like gold. They bring traffic and bump your SERPs.
1. If they have contact form, then fill it up 2. You can also contact the webmaster via their email address posted on their contact page 3. Request politely ...if possible, add their sites so that it will be easier for them to approve your request.
LOLed!! Make sure that you review their website well. Don't make your email too long. And don't beg. If you can give them a call it would be better. It would be much personal that way. And don't send generic email blasts. Make it as personalized as you can. Best of luck.
Hi, I use to go for email request. Because email request will directly go to the webmaster who is taking care of link building activities. If you rellay want reciprocal links i will do it. Please contact me at - texasddc at gmail dot com
Choose forums like DP, webmastersworld etc to contact the webmasters directly for a link exchange... Go to link exchange forum and choose your related sites and pm them
When you have a good quality site then it's very easy. Otherwise no matter how you approach them, they will ignore the request.
contact page, and be friendly in the request and depending on the webmaster it should work, dont go asking large sites like chris pirillo or joel e.t.c as they will not respond
