How to appraise "Traffic Domains"

When it comes to traffic domains, I personally assign a value of what that domain could make on average over 2 years minimum. Due to growth and potential if you were to put some effort into developing it.

Am I over / under shooting it ?

I am trying to figure out the standard for everyone. What is your rule of thumb on this issue?

    Traffic domain? What is that?
A domain doesn't make traffic by itself. You grow a site, not a domain name.
Sorry, guess I'm missing something here. Can you reword or explain your question ?

I suppose that every owner of the domain name do know about the prices of this domain name and traffic. And better have some statistic tool to be able check that.

real legitimate (non tm, non typo) traffic domains generally don't sell for under 10 years.

interesting to know about the 10 years.

To clarify, I am talking about domain names that have established traffic. I thought that it would be fairly obvious :(
