Hi, I would like to analyze some other websites can anybody help give me some tips on how to do this? If possible i would like to do the following: 1. Find all the backlinks to a site/page and/or the anchor text of these backlinks 2. Any traffic relation to the site/page (how many hits, what search's and where the visistors come from maybe) Are any of these possible, and are there any other reccomendations you make for analyzing my competitors. You can use the linkdomain:www.example.com command in Yahoo - You can use the link:www.example.com command in Google but keep in mind that Google is only a sample or summary of their links. The Yahoo command is also not perfect but it shows more of their links - just follow the links to the page. If you want to get more detailed such as analyzing anchor text etc. as redgsr suggested there are tools like SEO Elite.
