How to allow others to click a button/link to add my site to preferred sites.

I was searching the net the other day, and I had came acrossed a site that allowed me to click a link and add their site to my preferred website results for Google. I think this is really awesome, and could help me out with some of my projects.

Can anyone point me to 'any' type of reading for this?

 

I havent seen this type of click to add to preferred results for Google before. DO you have the url for the website that allows you to do this, so we can see how it is done by that website?

 

Unforunately I do not. I thought I had bookmarked it, but it turns out that I didn't done that.

 

I feel like I have seen this link around, too. I wish I could remember it... I would assume it would have something to do with Google? I mean, I would doubt a 3rd party would run a service like that so the link would probably have been affiliated to Google itself.

 

I'm not sure why you need to add their link for your preferred website results in Google, but isn't google tend to rank websites higher that you visit more often?
