How to align a ul list in a dropdown??

Hi,

i created this dropdown menu but i can't get the ul>li list align correctly under the main menu. I like to have paddin on the left and right and have the text align with the headmenu text.

With firebug i can see some strange offset but i can't fix htis

any suggestions??

 

Try to set the width of the li elements.

one more thing i notice in firefox the li height isn't auto height it squeezes the text???

The whole CSS for the dropdown would be more useful. Are you using CSS reset?
