How to advertise my classified site

    I have a classified site (Specific topic). But not sure how to advertise it.... I can't just call people up or email them and point them to my site as that is considered spam.

    Any ideas?

    Try adwords or another low cost PPC network.

    You might want to also try partnering with complimentary sites.

    Offer free classified ads as well as an incentive for people to sign up and give it a go.

    Can you tell us the niche?

    You could write articles about the benefits of classified ads, or how to write successful classified ads and include links in your bio to your site.

    Another way would be to find relevant forums and advertise your site via your signature, or, offer your 'free' or special discounts to forum members.

    depedn on who are your target customers. if they are net users try to go the sites they are stay and advertise there. if they are off the net like local people. try local advertising and tell them about your service on the net.
