how to advertise any educational site?

i currently created a site www.icbse.com

how can i advertise it in India to make it popular educational site?

 

Looking to Target in India only?

I would follow the same ad methods as with any other sites.
- You could join educational forums (local or subforums designated for India in some big forums) and (no not to spam) but give good advises and give link to your site if there's a related chance.
- Educational sites can spread by word of mouth if you target the right person yourself or through someone else (perhaps someone in or learning in the field)
- Geotargeted ad links if you have the budget to do so

I can only think about those for now..

I'd say try to promote in indian social communities, and target school going students.

 

Try to show the activities that you are involve in and how you are related to the good schools

 

Submit your site to specialized directories related to india and education.
