    Hello,

I need to advertise a social networking site on Adwords but I don't know exactly how to do it, do you think I should use CPM or CPC? I don't know what keywords to use, and it's a general web site, in other words anybody could be interested.... What do you think? :)
    Thanks.

To me it would make more sense to use the CMP becuase you are trying to get your name out there and have a lot of different people interested in using it. You could narrow the scope by picking where you want your content ads to show, but since you have a "general" web site, this could pose some problems. You might want to think about who it is you're targeting first and then consider advertising to them and not just anybody. From there expand outward to grab the larger audience. Whats the URL anyway?

Thanks. I still have to find a catchy domain name (harder and harder these days). Do you know if it's possible in Adwords to pick the cheapest keywords, the ones no one wants? I think this would be a good deal to advertise my site, no?

In the "Tools" section, there is a keyword generator that will help you find relating keywords to whatever you type in (there are also a lot out on the web, just Google it). From there, you can look at the competition rate and avg search volume and make a judgement call on which ones you want. Keep in mind keyword matching (phrase, broad, exact) when you ad them to the campaign.

It doesn't quite work like that - if the keywords aren't relevant to your site, they won't be cheap for you. The cheapest keywords will be the ones relevant to what you're advertising, and that appear in your ad. Have a think about longtails (phrases rather than words) as they can work out less expensive.
