I was under the impression that if someone is using your search engine and they click a sponsored link you get paid then. But I'm not sure, just started using searches on my sites.
you can't make people click your ads after they search, so get over it and move on and create more content
you have not created your search engine properly i think so you have to adjust the keywords and country for search box ...
