I want to speed up my server using:
Zend Optimizer, Eaccelerator & Ioncube Accelerator.

I'm a sort of novice, but what commands (and urls) do I need to upload and run the above software via SSH and Putty?

    Thanks

    hi Misohoni

Check out this link for zend - http://www.webhostgear.com/184.html

    Do you have root access?

I highly suggest getting a server administrator to install these accelerators/decoders to ensure server security is not compromised.

    Best Regards

Thanks, yes I have root access via SSH. Is there a way to check if I already have Zend pre-installed on the server?

    Cheers

    Set up a phpinfo file.

If you have cPanel, use EasyApache.

i just recently did the same thing and it made a HUGE difference in resource usage and site response time. They are far easier to install/setup using EasyApache either from the shell or from cPanel.
