    go to "Permalinks" under "Settings" tab in your wordpress admin control panel. Select the "Custom..." option and post this in the corresponding box /%category%/%postname%/.html and save the settings. Now refresh your blog and see the magic :)

    You can do different variations based on what things you want to include your url. for that check the link given by ShinoRex above

    You can change in .html format from the control panel, just go to setting then click on permalink and change in the custom field box by /%category%/%postname%/.html and save the form and enjoy
